About:
SRecord is a collection of powerful tools for manipulating EPROM load files. It understands a number of file formats including Motorola S-Record, Intel hex, Tektronix hex and binary, for both input and output. SRecord filters include cropping, filling, splitting, joining, and more. All filters may be applied to all file formats.
Release focus: Minor feature enhancements
Changes:
The srec-cat -data-only option has been broken
down into four separate controls. It is now
possible to -enable and -disable individual
features, such as "header", "data-count",
"execution-start-address", and "footer". The
srec_cat -start-address option was renamed
-execution-start-address due to confusion with
-offset filter. Examples of converting to and from
binary files have been added to the
srec_examples(1) man page. A bug has been fixed in
the MOS Tech format, so it now emits an end record
even when there is no execution start address
passed in.
